The Old God is a cruel and abusive deity, destroying the templefolk's old homeworld and enslaving the rest in her Paradise, and corrupting the Radiant Goddess into a planet-razing monster, while also belittling her by saying that she doesn't have anything that didn't come from the Old God. However, the Old God only created the universe in the first place out of loneliness, and her desire to rule her creations and to originally connect with the Radiant Goddess stems from this.
