• Overshadowed by Controversy: She went on a lengthy undefeated streak in Beyond Wrestling, but is less known for the streak itself than the match where Chris Dickinson ended it by giving her two low blows, bashing her in the head with a chair, power bombing her and pinning Lee with her own Alligator clutch. Chair shots to the head were especially controversial at the time, and the camera angle gave fans the mistaken impression that Lee's was unprotected in an Intended Audience Reaction, Gone Horribly Right! Also, the Alligator clutch is such an old and hardly ever used anymore move that those not familiar with earlier territorial wrestling in the USA or not following Beyond assumed, after seeing the preceding low blows, that Dickinson was tea bagging Lee and castigated Beyond for sexually demeaning a woman for cheap publicity. It was so bad Lee had to break kayfabe to acknowledge she had perhaps gone overboard with the risky moves and assure everyone she was alright.
  • As an add on to this, Christina Von Eerie made claims in 2022 that she was stuck in an abusive relationship with Dickinson during that time period, and he was verbally dismissive to her of women's wrestling in general, so fans saying he was taking liberties might have been a bit more accurate than anyone thought.
• Shocking Moments: German Suplexing all four members of the Wrecking Crew, including the 350 lbs. Max Smashmaster, in succession, pinning Blaster McMassive to win the match, defeating Hallowicked to become the first female CHIKARA Grand Champion... Yes, she qualifies.
• Smurfette Breakout: She first showed up as the valet of Knight Eye For the Pirate Guy who took credit for all their success without actually doing anything. KEftPG vanished from CHIKARA after King of Trios 2014, while Kimberlee went on to become a captain in the Challenge of the Immortals team series and later Grand Champion.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: A common reaction to one of the top independent women talents being dropped from NXT after doing absolutely nothing. As it turns out, this dropped ball probably wasn't WWE's fault.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: When she returned to CHIKARA, she specifically targeted "Queen of the Seven Seas" Oceanea (formerly Ashley Vox) on the grounds that she was the only real royalty in CHIKARA. What could have produced some terrific matches was forgotten because of Kim's ongoing issue with The Whisper.
