• Awesome Art: The book's cover art is gorgeously detailed, from the skull with eyeballs to the dark backdrop of the water park in its mouth, the water flowing out of the skull's mouth as the four characters ominously float in their raft, it's very reminiscent of 80's horror movie cover art that one would see at a movie rental store's horror section.
• Squick: The Dead Man's Drop ride, as Cyndi finds out the hard way after she's forced to go down the slide to try escaping the killer, because the pool at the bottom is the place where the killer has stored the bodies of all the workers he has killed over time, and Cyndi finds herself having to swim, wade and push through around over two dozen rotting corpses.
