- Character Rerailment: Following a disastrous main roster career in 2021, Karrion returns with a vengeance on August 5, 2022 edition of SmackDown, as he reverts back to his original persona back when he was on NXT.

- "Karen" Kross, due to fans laughing at how the WWE forced Kross to change "Killer" to "Karrion" and the fact that Scarlett does a lot of his talking for him, like a Karen might talk to a manager.
- A geek nickname was given by WWE Spanish-speaking and trash talker youtuber Warge, calling him as "Victor Zsasz", comparing the wrestler with the Batman enemy as a kind of Bald of Evil Serial Killer gimmick... at least before Kross grew his hair back.
- WTH, Costuming Department?: Kross' main roster debut in 2021 got off to a very bad start in large part for his debut look, which supplanted his expected NXT persona with a bizarre gladiator helmet and X-shaped suspenders that was bizarre at best, laughable at worst. Even Kross himself hated it, with it clearly being a push by Executive Meddling. When he was eventually brought back to WWE in 2022, he returned to his original look with nary a helmet nor suspenders in sight.
