• Heartwarming Moment: The Hero's father welcoming him back after he ignored all warnings to 'beware the Jabberwock' and slew it instead.
• I Am Not Shazam: The name of the monster is 'the Jabberwock', not 'the Jabberwocky' — like how the hero of The Odyssey is Odysseus. However, it's called the Jabberwocky in numerous adaptations, likely causing the confusion.
• Moment of Awesome: The Hero killing the Jabberwock.
• Quirky Work: The poem is intentionally surreal and full of neologisms, which is why it became one of the most famous nonsense poems. It's also fitting, as Alice reads it in her dream.

  • Mrs. Fishfinger is played by Brenda Cowling, who would later be best known for playing Mrs. Lipton in You Rang, M'Lord?.
  • Sister Jessica is played by Gorden Kaye, who would later be best known for playing René Artois in 'Allo 'Allo!.
  • A fanatic is played by Janine Duvitski, who would later be best known for playing Jane Edwards in Waiting for God and Pippa Trench in One Foot in the Grave.
• Spiritual Successor: While Terry Gilliam isn't a fan of having Monty Python's name associated with the film in many places (since it didn't involve all of the team), the heavy use of Medieval Morons and The Dung Ages inevitably brings The Holy Grail to mind.
