YMMV / Hercules Against the Moon Men

• Alternative Character Interpretation: Was Hercules really unable to break out of that net, or did he pull a Trojan Prisoner?
• Complete Monster: Queen Samara, allying with the evil Moon Men and their leader Redolphis, plots to help them conquer or destroy most of the world for her own benefit. Sending countless innocents to the Mountain of Doom to be sacrificed, Samara gathers up numerous children to be sacrificed in hopes someone's special blood can revive the queen of the Moon Men, coupled with having loyal soldiers killed, even if they survive a battle with Maciste.
• Moral Event Horizon: Samara trying to sacrifice her own half-sister Billis, as Billis was a good person and was even nice to Samara at first despite how evil she was.
• Padding:
  • Hercules spends several minutes getting deluged by water in the water trap before breaking out. You could cut out several minutes of it and lose nothing.
  • The sand storm sequence. One of the reasons it got trashed so much was because it goes on forever. Though unlike the similarly infamous rock climbing sequence from Lost Continent, there are at least occasional cuts to other stuff.
• Special Effects Failure: Hercules' bronzer rubs off on a spike in the attempted impalement scene and rubs off on Agar's dress when he pulls her onto his horse at the end.
