• Heartwarming Moments:
  • Chris Taylor frequently refers to the band as his “home” and “family,” proclaims his unconditional love for them, and admits to missing them when they’re not recording or touring. Awww.
  • Dan covering "Too Little, Too Late" by JoJo for Ed's 30th birthday. Especially heartwarming since neither of them were on particularly good terms with each other around that time.
• Ho Yay:
  • Every member except Ed is often Mistaken for Gay, for whatever reason.
  • Chris Taylor describing the beginning of his relationship with Dan as a “courtship.”
  • Chris Bear joking (?) that “we all hooked up, Real World-style” during the recording of Veckatimest.
• Mainstream Obscurity: They’ve sold out Radio City Music Hall, appeared in several prominent magazines, and are generally considered to be one of the greatest indie bands of all time- yet no one seems to know who they are.
• Most Wonderful Sound: Pick any one of their harmonies. There’s a reason why they’re often compared to a boys’ choir.
