YMMV / Gregory Helms

Go To

  • Fridge Logic: One of his ECW storylines was that Paul Burchill was trying to prove that Helms was the Hurricane. Problem was, WWE had been billing him since his return (and for part of this storyline) as Hurricane Helms. Midway through, someone caught on and the last name was quickly dropped.
  • Hilarious in Hindsight: A superhero gimmick in the WWE, over half a decade before WWE went PG and superhero films became massively successful at the box office.

  • Narm Charm: 3-Count, especially their first theme.
  • Never Live It Down: The infamous Gregory Helms titantron.
  • Nightmare Fuel: His old finishing move the vertebreaker. It's quite possibly the most dangerous move in all of wrestling as it involves him dropping his opponent on their neck. If they're even slightly late getting their head into position it could result in their death. Unsurprisingly, and quite rightly, the WWE forbid him from ever using it.
