  • Heartwarming Moments: In "Exploring Freejack", Cecil notes how director Geoff Murphy was being pummeled by the studio, who rejected all his creative input to side with Morgan Creek CEO Jim Robinson, who apparently thought he was God's gift to filmmaking after the success of Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. Mick Jagger saw how much stress Murphy was under, and asked him if he'd have any free time after filming wrapped. Murphy said there'd be a few weeks while the rough cut was assembled. Jagger invited Murphy and his family to stay at Jagger's vacation home in the Virgin Islands, with a full live-in staff. Murphy and his family had quite a relaxing vacation there, which Murphy clearly needed after the horrible experience of principal photography (and there would still be issues with the film and fights with the studio to sort out). Murphy, who was also a painter, was even inspired to do a few paintings, which he left in the house as a thank-you to Jagger. Jagger later told Murphy's wife that he loved the paintings so much he had them framed and hung in the house.
  • Retroactive Recognition: In his "Where Are They Now?" Epilogue, Cecil will point out actors or crewmembers who got their start in these low-budget B movies who later went on to great success in the industry.
  • So Bad, It's Good: Not the show itself, but the movies it reviews. An Invoked Trope, it explores what makes them "bad" and what Cecil believes makes them "good".
