• Paranoia Fuel: The idea of a maneating shark that can kill if you're around literally any amount of water. Even something as small as a glass of water.
• Special Effects Failure: Aside from a few instances, one particularly bad example occurs during the Ghost Shark's fake-out death in which what appears to be a photograph of the shark shakes around and bursts apart via After Effects. Several of the prosthetic effects are also lacking in quality.
