YMMV / Futurama S 3 E 16 A Leela Of Her Own

• Trapped by Mountain Lions: One of the two main reasons why the episode has such a bad reputation — the other being its poor treatment of Leela and Downer Ending — is the sub-plot with the Cygnoids, which does help lead into the Blernsball plot, but is otherwise an uninteresting drag on a story that's already struggling, and is further made worse by an excessive number of gross-out gags.
• The Woobie: Poor Leela has been exploited and humiliated throughout the episode, all because she happened to be a terrible female Blernsball player. And since she was a novelty act, put in only for her horrible pitching, there was never any focus on whether she'd be any better at bat (and maybe that would have helped her avoid being called the worst Blernsball player of all time!).
