• It Was His Sled: The game being a Stealth Prequel is more obvious now that the second Sideboob Story pretty-directly follows on the events of 2.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: Lorelai isn't in the game much, isn't given much characterization outside of one point where she's forced to help a plot against Ruin at knife-point, and is generally the least-developed love interest in the story. The creators clearly agree, given they've multiple side-discs and a new ending in the Updated Re-release to rectifying the situation.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: Zebia and Elysia learning to get along and mend the rift between elves and dark elves during Elysia's route is important Character Development for both of them, and at the end of the story they're so close they don't mind both marrying Ruin. Said route doesn't contain a single Three-Way Sex scene with the two of them. Such scenes are instead confined entirely to the Harem route, where they interact far less and their relationship is far less developed, wasting the plot on two different levels.
