• Complete Monster: Camilla is a supernaturally-young alchemist seeking the Philosopher's Catalyst. Working with Professor Wilhelm Eiselstein as his assistant "Greta", Camilla wipes out the town of Hiessgart with his chimeras. Now in New Hiessgart, Camilla lures alchemists to the town to be eaten and empowered as Catalysts by her chimeras. Tricking the military into an all-out war with the town, Camilla makes off with Wilhelm's young daughter Armony, intending to kill the girl and take the Catalyst within her and remain young forever.
• Magnificent Bastard: This version of Colonel Roy Mustang is even trickier than his original counterpart. Seemingly betraying the Elric brothers to be thrown in jail by a corrupt General, Mustang uses their inevitable breakout as a diversion to outplay and arrest the General. Harsh yet fair, Mustang even fights Ed to prevent him from seeing a girl he had befriended as she passes away per her and her father's wishes.
• That One Boss: Oh boy, where do we start.
  • The Alchemy Brothers. Fighting all three of them at once is a pain in the ass, since they use their combined powers to summon fire explosions and create boulders to bury you during their boss fight, they animate an invulnerable armor golem that is absolutely invincible and has projectile attacks, making it hard to focus on them. Their rematch is even worse since they summon five invincible golems instead of one.
  • The end game pits you against the most brutal Marathon Boss. You have to fight three giant chimeras at the same time, one of them can heal and the other is airborne. And did we mention they have three life bars and lots of hit points? And after you beat them, Camilla fuses them into a horrible Eldritch Abomination and you are supposed to fight them all in one go without refuel.
