Freddy Fazbear And Friends S 1 E 5 Fazbear Deep

Go To

  • Ass Pull: The entire All Just a Dream twist.
  • Informed Wrongness: Foxy is supposed to be portrayed in the wrong for the majority of the episode, but the abuse he gets from Freddy, Bonnie, and Chica, as well as the fact what he was blamed for wasn't even his fault the majority of the time, he turns into more of a Butt-Monkey.
  • Unintentionally Sympathetic: Foxy is meant to be labelled as the episode's dimwit, constantly messing up for the crew and getting them into deeper and deeper troubles. However, these accidents are hardly ever Foxy's fault. He ends up being blamed for separate tiger and shark attacks despite being unaware of the dangers of the island, while constantly getting snide comments from the others blaming him. Not to mention that his friends refuse to let him inside the shelter and essentially mock him for being rightfully upset.
  • Unintentionally Unsympathetic: The Fazbear Four's unfortunate incidents are meant to be taken sympathetically. However, as the episode progresses and Freddy, Bonnie, and Chica start turning on Foxy, climaxing into flat-out refusing to let him into the shelter, it becomes very hard to root for them. Even when Chica gets her arm cut off, she had tried to attack Foxy first after aggressively yelling at him.
  • The Woobie: Poor ol' Foxy. He's mistreated throughout almost the entire episode. He is blamed for most of the episode's events (including some he couldn't have even controlled), gets crushed by Chica, who had fallen off a tree, gets attacked and mauled by a tiger, and is finally sent into Broken Tears when he's declined being able to sleep in the lone shelter. Not to mention Freddy throws him off the canoe after Chica had tried to attack him first. On top of all that, when it's simply revealed to be All Just a Dream, it unfortunately becomes a reality when Chica crashes the ship for real.
  • Tear Jerker: Foxy being left out in the rain, causing him to yell at the group in Broken Tears, a very Out-of-Character Moment for the typically calm and collected fox.
