• Broken Base: Does Labyrinth live up to the legacy of its predecessors, or is it more of the same?
• Contested Sequel: Labyrinth, mainly for being too similar to and less inspiring as Agony.
• Growing the Beard: Agony is where Fleshgod became their own beast when compared to the Technical Death Metal sound displayed on Oracles and Mafia.
• More Popular Spin-Off: Fleshgod was originally formed as an Hour of Penance side project, but became much bigger than the latter around the time Agony was released.
• Narm Charm: Look, any cover of "Blue (Da Ba Dee)" is bound to be fundamentally cheesy, and a death metal cover even more so. Despite this, the band's take on it manages to sound properly epic and even ominous at times, making the notoriously goofy "blue world" verse sound more like a Madness Mantra.
