- Best Known for the Fanservice: The film is mostly known as being about Rebecca Romijn making out with another woman. And something about a very successful Manipulative Bitch. Maybe.
- Cult Classic: This film have been developing a cult status among cinephiles; even Warner Bros. added this film as a part of Warner Archive Collection.
- Hilarious in Hindsight: As confusing as the ending can be, it could be understood as a sort of Mental Time Travel – a plot device that the film series that made Rebecca Romijn a household name as an actress eventually used twelve years later.
- Theiss Titillation Theory: The metal frame thing that the actress who portrayed the woman Laure steals the diamonds from at Cannes barely did any job covering her breasts – there are several shots in which she suffers a slight Wardrobe Malfunction. Interestingly enough, a model appeared wearing the same metal frame at the premiere of the film; suffice to say, it did about as well a job there as it did in the movie (not at all).
