- Harsher in Hindsight - the thought that a Gone Horribly Wrong experiment could render a significant area dead was new and very disturbing back in The '60s. Fast forward to 1986 and we get Tschernobyl explosion, caused by an experiment (though the experiment in that case was, ironically enough, a safety test).
