• Jerkass Woobie:
  • Izaku. Freudian excuses aside (he was created to be sacrificed, essentially, along with dying from something like progeria), he hasn't a reason to go around killing people for no reason.
  • Yuri's mother. She was horribly abused by her father as a child and becomes abusive towards her daughter Yuri as a result. Eventually, Mine convinces her to seek therapy, and she starts working to repair her relationship with Yuri. But then she discovers that she's pregnant with another child, and decides to abort it so that she can focus on Yuri. Unfortunately, this triggers Izaku's Berserk Button, and he kills her by causing her to hallucinate of her abusive father, and she falls off the stairs and dies while trying to escape him. It's really sad that just when she's starting to finally heal from the pain of her past, she was forced to experience the fear and pain all over again during her final moments as she hallucinate her father beating her to death.
• The Woobie: Yuri. She was abused by her mother, and was bullied at school. She befriends Izaku because he kills the bully, but their friendship falls apart when Izaku plans to kill Shuro and hurt Mine, whom Yuri likes. Then, when her mother tries to rebuild their relationship after seeking counselling, Izaku kills her. When Yuri calls him out for this, Izaku kills her as well.
