• Comedy Ghetto: Erik Satie liked to give his piano pieces humoristic titles and instructions to the performers. This may have attributed to the fact that his contemporaries didn't take him seriously in his lifetime.
• Signature Song: "Gymnopedie No. 1."
• Sweet Dreams Fuel: Every movement in Gymnopédies but especially the first one. It's become his Signature Song for a reason.
• Vindicated by History: Satie was seen as a lightweight during his lifetime, because his music was so minimalistic, simple and often accompanied by amusing titles. Only decades after he died he was hailed as an innovator and a predecessor of many musical genres, including Ambient and Minimalism.
