  • Awesome Music: Patric Caird's jazz score has always been awesome, but the brass-heavy cue for when Eddy swaggers into the lunchroom is probably the best it's ever been.
  • Catharsis Factor: Eddy finally standing up to the Kankers, especially after A Twist of Ed.
  • Heartwarming Moments:
    • In the flashback to the scene where Ed and Edd have a falling out (Ed thinking him a bully and trying to protect Sarah), Edd tries to save his and Ed's friendship by disarming him. Unfortunately, he tugged on the chair too hard and sent Ed crashing on top of him, but it was the thought that counted.
    • Eddy standing up for Edd after spending throughout the two parter being a massive jerk by taking advantage of the "feared" reputation of Edd. He then eats hot dogs with Edd and Ed.
  • Moment of Awesome:
    • After being pelted by too many hotdogs, Jimmy freaking EXPLODES and lays a humongous smack-down on Edd, showing us why you should never push him far. Somewhat mitigated by him targeting the wrong person, since it was Eddy who was doing the pelting.
    • "HE'S HAD ENOUGH ALREADY!!!" You gotta admit it was brave of Eddy for defending Edd against the Kankers.
  • Rescued from the Scrappy Heap: This episode helped redeem Jimmy in some eyes after "If It Smells Like an Ed" and "Tinker Ed".
  • Tear Jerker: After Ed shows hostility to Edd, both boys are torn up over their fight. Ed's heart visibly wells up in his throat and breaks. Both fall to pieces almost immediately. Neither of them want their friendship to end, but Ed is scared of Sarah getting hurt, and Edd, hurt by the fact that Ed called him a "Punchy McFisticuffs" is saddened by the fact that Ed is ending their friendship over such a misunderstanding.
  • The Woobie: Edd has probably never been as much of a woobie as he is in this episode. Also Ed, to a lesser extent.
