YMMV / Ed, Edd n Eddy/Devilman: crybaby

• Cult Classic: Based on the views the chapters have gotten and the praise that came with it, this fanfic shaped up to be this, depending on your interpretation.
• Moral Event Horizon: Jinmen, suffice to say, isn't allowed to forget about how he killed all those people (including Akira's parents).
  • Rex Formido crossed it already due to being a sadistic planet killer from what we see in Part 6. Also, by just being King Ghidorah.
  • As the comments can attest, many people want Ryo's head after Ed's death in Episode 9.
• Nightmare Fuel: Downplayed, as it's more of an Awesome Moment, but Part 5 has Ed go into Tranquil Fury mode against the demons. What follows is a Mook Horror Show, obviously, but special mention to when Miko finally becomes a Devilman and tears into her aggressors. Her situation wasn't much better, as she was nearly eaten by a Blob Monster.
  • How is King Ghidorah introduced? By showing him bringing the apocalypse to an alien planet while All for One's theme plays. Even worse, his actual appearance harkens back to his Showa appearance...but played for horror, as he absorbs the souls of children when he does so, while also being set to Golden Frieza's theme. Oh, and by the end of the fanfic, he's still at large...
  • Vishnu, really. He may be Edd's controlled Devilman form, but, as a drawing of him showed, he's emancipated, gangly, and his entire head is a massive...that opens up to reveal an ungodly amount of teeth!
• The Scrappy: Ryo was already a base-breaking character in his home series, but the readers, based on the comments, tend to focus on his negative traits. Not helping is the fact that most of his only good moments are not focused on, but also, as of Episode 9, we have the fact that he played a part in Ed's death.
• Unexpected Character:
  • Saylos, whom is revealed to have also been absorbed by Devilbreaker and is now sharing the place with Sirene.
  • An even greater example would be freaking KING GHIDORAH. Even the fic comments on how he shouldn't be here.
