- Moment of Awesome: The final newbie quest involves you single-handedly infiltrating Earthend to kill three captains and their superiors. There are some others in the lore:
- The Carpathian Wars, particularly the Deadshale. This may also qualify as a Tear Jerker.
- Sargon infiltrating Starkhold Fortress to assassinate Lord Vinga, the Palatine of the Vampires, and succeeding. All by himself.
- The virtual entirety of Atan's saga.
- They Changed It, Now It Sucks!/It's the Same, Now It Sucks!: Can go either way.
- Fans says it's been "anime-fied" thanks to its Japanese localization, and it appeals less to the older audience. With the age requirements now being 13 thanks to Facebook Connect, the classic players (who are obviously older than 13) are NOT happy.
- It's the same game, and many of the exact same glitches from the previous version have not been fixed. Even brand new glitches have risen.
