- They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: Or premise, in this case. "MythBusters for kids" isn't a bad idea (and indeed, it would later be pulled off successfully with MythBusters Jr.), but there's rarely any actual testing or sense of interest with the scenarios; often, it's just an excuse to have random shenanigans happen.
- Took the Bad Film Seriously: All three of the Dudes love to talk about how much they love doing the show with no sense of irony or self-awareness. In this case, it seems to be a case of regardless of the viewer reception, they genuinely had fun with a lot of the scenarios, contraptions and other such nonsense the show made them do.
