• Fridge Horror: The episode introduces Aphroducky's love arrows, which make a person fall madly in love with the first being seen after being struck, to the point of ignoring important personal goals and even personal safety. That in and of itself is a horrifying concept, but what if someone had gotten ahold of them who would actually use them for their own benefit (rather than just keeping them as a trophy like Scrooge)?
• Fridge Logic: What was a chest calling platonic love^note philia, not eros the greatest treasure doing in Aphroducky's temple?
• Genius Bonus: After getting into a fight with Vulcan, Aphroducky rants that she could have married Adonis instead. In Greco-Roman mythology, Aphrodite/Venus and Hephaestus/Vulcan were married, but Aphrodite didn't take the marriage very seriously. Adonis was one of the many men who caught her eye.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: Scrooge is struck by a curse which only true love can break. The heroes' first attempt to invoke the Curse Escape Clause doesn't work because they don't properly understand the situation. The love which cures him is familial. It seems like an early attempt to write a story with the Aesop of Frozen.
