- Awesome Music: Linton Forest, The Glacier, Raxis City.
- The entire soundtrack of the game is actually very epic for its time. Some other awesome tracks are the tutorial level, Brize Forest, the Border Fortress, the Execution Grounds, the Alchemist's Tower and of course, the awesome opening and the ending credits.
- Cult Classic: This game has a small yet dedicated fanbase despite not being a commercial success and only manages to get "mixed review" by critics, especially when compared to other Namco games.
- Hilarious in Hindsight: Re:Zero has an elderly swordmaster knight named Wilhelm, whose Japanese pronounciation is similar to Vilherm. While both characters share many things in common, their fate cannot be further apart. Wilhelm has proven his badassery by helping his comrades in killing the White Whale in Re:Zero, meanwhile Vilherm got beaten by a teenage girl in Azos route and got killed in other routes.
- Incest Yay Shipping: The royal siblings Anna and Mihael, who both lack a love interest in their chapters and spend the ending talking about their love/affection for each other.
- Scrappy Weapon: There are levels where for plot reasons the player character has to use a "normal" sword instead of a magic one, which deals much less damage.
