• Catharsis Factor: Many fans were quite joyful over the torture and extermination of not only the Jang Family(Jang Hae Jee in particular) but also all the officials who have been trying all series to remove, or otherwise kill, Dong Yi.

• Moral Event Horizon: Lady Jang arguably fell into that after she tacitly acquiesced her brother's plot to poison the Dowager Queen. Before that, she was just depicted as ambitious, but not evil at all. She definitely crosses the line when she hires a witch to assist her in killing the Queen Inheyon. But if you are still unconvinced by that, she also hired an assassin to kill Dong Yi and had her wing of the palace burned, which almost killed not only Dong Yi’s son, but also her own as well.
