• Hilarious in Hindsight: Crossing over with Heartwarming, Donald would again sing "When You Wish Upon a Star" 76 years later, but this time in his normal voice and sharing a romantic moment with Daisy back-to-back.
• Values Dissonance: It's one of the hardest hit shorts. The classic Disney characters are seen as family-friendly, often with a lean towards preschoolers, so a short where Daisy has a mental breakdown to the point of being suicidal (and it's played for laughs) really comes off as off.
