  • Hollywood Homely: Daniela Rocca, who plays Rosalia, was a model, and while made up to look less attractive, is hardly ugly. Sort of a Justified Trope in that Ferdinando admits to marrying Rosalia for her voluptuous figure and it is more her personality than appearance which repels him. There's also a factor that Ferdinando's general discontent with life leads him to feel disgust toward Rosalia (and conversely to put Angela on a pedestal).
