  • Big-Lipped Alligator Moment:
    • There's a scene in the film where Rebecca is chased out of a supermaket by its security guard, an Asian man that speaks in Japanese Ranguage. It appears out of nowhere, it does not make much sense in context, and is never brought up again, and it appears to only be there as an excuse for Asian jokes.
    • At one point Rebecca is on a date and decides to go to the bathroom. A woman we've never seen before walks in crying her eyes out. As Rebecca comes out of the stall to leave, the woman gives Rebecca a big hug. Rebecca seems uncomfortable at first, but goes along with it. The lady then leaves, and we never find out who she is or what she was so sad about as she never shows up again.
  • Memetic Mutation: Rebecca's shrill "Oh my Gaaawwwd!" at the beginning of the film gets a lot of mileage among those who watched the film, usually being compared with the infamous "Oh God! Oh man!" scene from Tough Guys Don't Dance.
  • Narm: A sub-plot of the film is that Rebecca's friend Carrie is an actress who gets constantly rejected at auditions, being derided as a bad actress, and Rebecca and her friends assure her she's not and she's just the victim of Jerkasses. It appears to be the film's few token attempts at being sentimental. Problem is, the actress playing Carrie (Kam Heskin) really does give out a very stilted, dull performance in this very film, which does not help disprove the accusations Carrie receives in-universe.
  • Nausea Fuel: One of the most reviled aspects is the disgusting humor, whether through fluids (including vomit and menstrual blood) or jokes such as a guy with a fish between his butt cheeks.
  • Special Effects Failure: The film quality is extremely grainy and cheap looking for some reason, even on DVD
  • The Woobie: Rebecca has a painful breakup at the beginning, and spends most of the movie getting humiliated in disgusting ways.
