YMMV / Deltarune VHS

  • Alternative Character Interpretation: Was Tasque Manager trying to scare the watcher or was she warning Kris about them?
  • Awesome Music: Some of the slowed down tracks actually sound good before they glitch: while the "Welcome to the City" track in "Kris, get the banana" is actually taken from the original material, the "Pandora Palace" ones from "TASQUE MANAGER" and "RALSEI" are original content.
  • Crosses the Line Twice: The first video "Kris, get the banana." can be considered this: transforming a Big-Lipped Alligator Moment of the original game into an Analog Horror video is so audacious it becomes hilarious.
  • Nightmare Retardant:
    • "SPAMTON’S CALL" features a distorted voice after the initial Jump Scare… which is actually just "Never Gonna Give You Up" played backwards.
    • While the binary string in "ROUXLES" may come off as mysterious at first, adding to the horror factor, converting it into text simply reveals the message "GOD DAMNIT".
    • In "WEREWIRE", after the Werewire has most of its head blown off and collapses to the ground, the text "get rekt idiot" appears in its place right before the video ends.
    • Pretty much all of the video's descriptions are some sort of goofy reference to a semi-relevant meme.
  • Paranoia Fuel:
    • You certainly will think twice of any noise you hear in your house when "TASQUE MANAGER" will ask you this question:
Are you really safe in your home?
    • "SPAMTON'S CALL" ends with loud footsteps coming closer and closer.
  • Tear Jerker: "NOELLE" has the titular character remembering the spelling bee contest where she lost on "December". After a nightmarish shot where Noelle freaks out in flames before cutting a torn "missing" poster, she's then seen lying on the ground in the dark with the sentence "it's your fault".
