- Awesome Moments: The Slamboree '98 return in disguise and victory over Chris Jericho is still one of the most fondly-remembered moments in WCW's history.
- Base-Breaking Character: Either he was underrated and should have been a world champion or one of the most boring wrestlers of all time.
- Fan Nickname: The trio of him, Chris Benoit, and Eddie Guerrero were referred to as "The Holy Trinity" or "The New Japan 3."
- Narm: His WWF titantron/entrance is just odd, with a James Bond style soundtrack (which is suspiciously similar to the title theme from Licence to Kill by Gladys Knight) and video with sultry dancing female silhouettes while words like "Arousing", "loving" and "magnificent" roamed the screen. It didn't fit what little character he had.
- The Woobie: Losing his two best friends, Guerrero and Benoit, the way he did and in such a short period of time (just over a year-and-a-half, November 13, 2005 to June 24, 2007) must have been a terrible time for him.
