Given how fringe and dark some of the stories can get, not to mention one doesn't even prominently feature Nick Wilde or Judy Hopps, interest in Darkflamewolf's stories from within the fandom has not been very high. It is generally fans or readers from within the broader furry community that have expressed interest and favorable reactions toward Darkflamewolf's fanfics.
