  • Angst? What Angst?: Keri in Bloody Mooney is pretty chill about finding her own mother torn apart with blood everywhere thanks to being eaten by the very animal that she brought into her home. Though Shannon's stated that it was closer to shock than anything else, and the game ends before we can see Keri react much further than the initial surprise.
  • Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: The introduction of the first episode of Hogwarts: The New Class gets waylaid by the players trying to pick characters to play in GoldenEye (1997), and which cheat codes are active, all thanks to a stray comment from Jake describing a four-way split-screen as reminiscent of the game.
  • Creepy Cute: The Skull Kingdom in Here We Gooooo!. Naturally it's covered in skulls and bones, but they're designed very cutely.
  • Nightmare Retardant: Plenty of the rooms in the haunted house from Creepy Town aren't actually that scary, such as the Dracula room with a bored vampire in a casket and a "Max Schreck-looing motherfucker" in half-assed Nosferatu makeup being the only scares. The victims spend the lead up to Halloween trying to make them look better.
  • Rooting for the Empire: In Homeward Bound 4, the entire game is based on the common situation of audiences liking animals more than people.
  • Scrappy Mechanic: Pops up while playing The Wreck. The fact that everything is essentially on a railroad and neither Alan nor the players have any room to improvise put a hamper on things and ultimately led to it being discontinued.
  • Serial Numbers Filed Off: In All I Want for Christmas, Chrissy wrote a rip-off of Harry Potter called Harriet Gardener and the Alchemist's Cup (though she mostly calls it by the working title, the Alchemist's Fuckin' Whatever).
  • Ugly Cute: The animal characters in Homeward Bound 4 aren't traditionally cute, but they manage to come off this way to a group of human tourists.
