• Alternate Character Interpretation: Many fans believe that Switch was holding back when she showed off her three Stands in THE CONSOLE WARS Anime Edition and believe that she has even more she hasn't used for Nintendo's other franchises.
• Foe Yay Shipping:
  • XBox's rivalry with Playstation. "Playstation 5 VS. Xbox Series X" sees XBox become the XBox Series X, which gives her a more much revealing outfit and much larger breasts while boasting she is "superior in every way." Playstation in response says that XBox has shown her hand and upgrades to the Playstation 5, "Allow me to reveal mine" as she goes into more revealing outfit that where her breasts also grew much larger.
  • "THE CONSOLE WARS [Anime Edition]" has the two preparing to fight and before Switch shows up they are shoving each against each other's breasts. Not to mention they expression annoyance with Switch breaking up the fight.
• Harsher in Hindsight:
  • Switch said as long as one person keeps using Stadia, the latter will never be a failure. Google announced that Stadia would shut down on January 18, 2023, and no one would be able to play it anymore. Like it or not, Switch's statement ended up being harshly invalidated by a real life situation. This actually gets addressed in "Goodnight, Stadia", where Stadia spends the last few moments of her life with Switch before dying.
  • The incident with Xbox using PC's credit card to buy Bethesda to prop up her Stands becomes even more painful considering the Activision Blizzard acquisition, which ended up with investigations from several anti-trust groups.
• Heartwarming Moments:
  • Switch finds Stadia crying about being a failure. What follows is the two bonding as Switch assures her that as long as even one person keeps using her platform, she'll never truly fail. However, this became bittersweet following Stadia's shutdown in January 2023.
  • The fact that despite Switch being a competitor, the other consoles have a rather warm view of her innocence and fun-first philosophy. It's telling that Xbox and Playstation, while prone to bickering with each other, are quite kind to Switch.
  • "Nintendo Switch-Chan wants to play Persona 5!" sees Switch ask Playstation if she can play Persona 5. Playstation initially refuses, but then Switch asks nicely with Puppy-Dog Eyes. Playstation gives in, and the joy on Switch as she thanks her actually puts a smile on Playstation, as Persona 5 Strikers also released on the Nintendo Switch. And then, in 2022, everyone got to play Persona 5, and the Updated Re-release to boot!
• Jerkass Woobie: Stadia. Ultimately, she just wants to play with everyone, but she's pretty bad at expressing it without being an arrogant prick, with Switch being the only one who treats her with respect. This is further emphasized in "Goodnight Stadia", where she slowly begins to wither away due to her parent company Google terminating her because her insecurities alienated everyone. In her last moments, Stadia laments that she was a failure, but Switch comforts her by telling her she was a "good friend" before saying "goodnight".
• Memetic Badass:
  • Switch, especially after THE CONSOLE WARS Anime Edition revealed she had three Stands. Unlike Xbox who eventually gained even more at a certain cost, Switch doesn't need to resort to others for it, the Stands come naturally (and she probably has more in her closet)
  • PC is the Team Mom who the other consoles are afraid, even Switch. She also pointed out that due to emulation she can anything the other consoles can, meaning she can use all of the Stands Switch had and more. And Switch wouldn't dare to sic the FBI on her either.
• Moe: Switch. She practically weaponizes it.
• Tear Jerker: The "Goodnight, Stadia" comic, which was made to coincide with Stadia (the service) shutting down. The first three parts involve Stadia having a good time with Switch. The fourth part has Switch find her collapsed and alone and Switch remains with her to the end, even calling Stadia a good friend on the final part.

  Stadia: Did I... Did I put up a good fight? Was I a good... rival...?

  Switch: You were a good friend.
