• Fan Nickname: MAIL0 (pronounced "Milo") is more often called Cogbot by readers, in part because his name hasn't been mentioned in the comic itself.

• Moe: Cog, even in-universe. Nominally sixteen but with the look (and sometimes demeanor) of an eight-year-old child, gets "parented" by several characters in different scenes (Christian, Esther, Cookie, Leonardo) and called "the cinnamon roll" by readers.
• No Yay: Alexander offers Cog a place as his assistant in solving the murders in Arcadia. Cog appears to have a crush on him, but is reluctant to leave his home in Mercia to accept Alexander's offer. When he goes into Alexander's office to tell him this, Alexander magically locks the door and physically forces him to sign the contract. What makes this more squicky than most fantasy menace is Alexander's flirtatious-looking poses. (He does those no matter the situation or who he's with, so it doesn't mean anything here, but it still may look . . . ew.)
