- Broken Base: Over which format is better: The silhouettes sans audience, or the live shows. Fans of the former like that it feels more like MST3K. Fans of the latter appreciate the audience reactions and the more spontaneous feel when the performers react to said audience reactions. J. Elvis Weinstein prefers the latter format, thinking it felt more natural to get immediate feedback.
- Heartwarming Moments: During the "Behind the Riffs" mini-documentary on the Danger on Tiki Island DVD, they show off a scene where Trace meets a guy who is such a big fan that he named his son after Trace and introduces them.
