• Broken Base: Several fans are displeased with the change in Kassim as his backstory had been one of the most sympathized. Kassim's A Day in the Limelight chapter with his point of view highlights why, but some fans felt that Kassim shouldn't need to do it. It can be justified as the setting of Magi gives many chances of Alternative Character Interpretation. Yet, to some readers, the fact that there is even rape at all (done by a character the fandom heavily sympathize with), put the fic into Audience-Alienating Premise territory for them, especially when those readers don't like how the author had done to deal with the subject.

• Draco in Leather Pants:
  • As per Canon, Judal. But this was played with as despite the heroism he received, he's still the same in personality.
• Ensemble Dark Horse:
  • Jamal was well received among the readers.
  • Among the four blessed children, Sai has become a favorite with his full and true character still in mystery. And the many Hidden Depths he had that is yet to be shown.
• Follow the Leader: The growing fame of this fic had brought the creation of reincarnation and time travel stories to the Magi fandom, and also those in a Set Right What Once Went Wrong variety in a similar way to Children of Solomon's plot. Even with the inspiration, some had stood out as it's own story. See the folder above for details.
• I Knew It!: Let's say the fact that Amani is pregnant during the course of the Zagan arc is well predicted from the start.
• Moral Event Horizon:
  • The three Al Thamen members who were to ambush the rest of the expedition party in Zagan tried to harm a pregnant Amani.
