• Sequelitis: Some people don't mind the limited differences between each sequel, and some think the series has gotten stale. This is especially evident in the reviews for New World, where the opinions are split between "great" and "too different."
• Uncertain Audience: The Catapult expansion is notorious for its uncertain appeal. It adds a goofy Dexterity Challenge to an otherwise purely strategic game, which tends to put off people who value the original's gameplay. On the other hand, if you want a silly game or a dexterity game, buying one designed to be that makes more sense than buying a strategy game and an expansion that tacks on silliness and dexterity. As a result, The Catapult has the dubious honour of being the only major expansion not to see a second or third edition.
