  • Alternative Character Interpretation:
    • While Seungyeon was largely a source of grief for the other characters, Inha and Seil recall that she had her Pet the Dog moments. Given her manipulative nature, though, it's unclear how genuine those were. Word of God suggests that she may have meant them at the time; it's just that that doesn't mean anything to her down the line.
    • Is Woosuk a complete Jerkass who actually hates Do-yoon for his own selfish reasons, or is he an extremely unpleasant and abrasive Tsundere hurt by the perceived betrayal? He stays up all night to send Do-yoon bitter messages, but it's up to the player to decide if that's how much he holds Do-yoon in contempt or if it's his strange way of checking that Do-yoon is still alive.
  • Awesome Art: As a visual novel, it's a very stylish game that uses a variety of poses and effects to make scenes feel dynamic.
  • Ensemble Dark Horse: Despite never even being shown, as only a Phater user, Woosuk is the subject of quite a large number of fanworks due to the drama he adds to the game and the potential Foe Yay Shipping with Do-yoon.
  • Ho Yay: Gyu-hyuk quite literally gets jealous at the thought of someone being closer to Do-yoon than he is, and their maxed rapport has them become each other's Living Emotional Crutch in certain endings, which comes across as vastly more intimate than any of Do-yoon's other rapports—just to name a bit of the subtext between the two. Considering Gyu-hyuk's role in the game, many fans essentially see him as the love interest.
  • Realism-Induced Horror: With the combination of the main factors (a building gone bad, contestants with unsavory pasts, staff of the entertainment industry end up commit illegal things, just to sate the demand of the public of the internet or real life), you have a story that could actually happen in real life.
  • They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: The premise of a Death Game where each round the contestant in the last place of popularity votes ends up dying. It ends up being just a Red Herring.
