• Special Effect Failure: The fight between Buffy and the giant enchanted snake consists of long shots in which both Buffy and the snake are rendered in very, very bad CGI, and close-up shots of Sarah Michelle Gellar wrestling with a huge, virtually immobile, obviously plastic snake head and doing her best to make it look as if it is fighting back. It's hard not to laugh when she strangles and punches it and the supposedly terrifying, extremely dangerous demon sent to find Dawn is completely immobile and useless.
