• Fridge Brilliance: Since the monks wanted Dawn protected, Buffy and Joyce's insistence that Dawn couldn't be left alone makes sense even if she was old enough.
• Padding: The scene where Willow and Tara are talking about Tara being an outsider was added later because the episode was too short and it was felt that something was missing.
• Retroactive Recognition: Cyrus, one of Harmony's minions, is played by Tom Lenk who would go on to play Andrew starting with the next season.
