- Misaimed Marketing: The marketing for this game seemed to be positively obsessed with the idea that the audience interested in a game like this would be middle-aged people who haven't gone to school in 15 years and thinks that school life is something akin to Animal House or Parker Lewis Can't Lose, instead of the 14-25 year old demographic the game is actually intended for.
- Porting Disaster: This is the American version of Tokimeki Memorial. The video game equivalent of dividing by zero. Not only did it royally bomb, but also extinguished hope of Konami porting a real Tokimeki Memorial (or Love Plus).
