YMMV / Breaking Bad S5 E12: "Rabid Dog"

• Moral Event Horizon: Hank of all people crosses it in this episode; after pushing Jesse into agreeing to meet up with Walt in public, Hank privately admits to Gomez that he knows full well that Walt may be luring Jesse out into the open in order to kill him, and really doesn't give a damn if he does end up dead because it would still be the proof he needs. Even Gomez who doesn’t really like Jesse that much looks shocked at Hank’s callous dismissal of someone's life.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: Sort of, considering the story as-is is quite solid, but seeing Hank revealing the situation to Gomez (and earlier to Marie) could have been quite interesting.
