• Alternative Character Interpretation:
  • Although the popular debate is whether Gus ordered the dealers to kill Tomas vs them interpreting the order as such, a third possibility remains: did they simply kick him out of the gang, and defend themselves from him pulling a weapon on them? If true, it would make sense for the event to happen offscreen to keep from justifying the dealers' actions.
  • Did Walt kill the dealers simply because he wanted to rescue Jesse at all costs? Or was he secretly just as disgusted that the dealers murdered an 11-year old child and wanted to Pay Evil unto Evil as well?
• Behind the Black: An audio variation. There's a hypnotic audio track to the viewer which helps convey Jesse's drug enhanced mind and makes him oblivious to the outside world. But there's little if any justification as to why neither of the dealers hear Walter's car barreling toward them in a quiet night until it's too late.
