• Funny Moments:
  • Any time Kenny Everett was on the panel; most famously, bending Terry Wogan's mic and taking shears to it and offering a replacement which made Wogan's voice sound like a chipmunk.
  • On his first episode, Les Dawson broke the mic.
  • "'Gary Lineker was a great footballer... I will never forget when he tripped over his feces—' Oh, WHAT is this?? ...Oh, his laces!"
    • Even funnier when you realize that Gary Lineker really did poop himself, during the 1990 Soccer World Cup.
  • One prize on the Supermatch round was what was described as a “Living room makeover” (which consisted of a couple of sofa’s, and some coffee tables, and a TV), which the contestant playing for it didn’t want, as he had just moved into a new house, and had just brought a load of new furniture for it. When Bradley Walsh asked the contestant what he was going to do with it if he won the prize, the contestant flat out stated that he was going to sell it on eBay, to everyone’s amusement.
