YMMV / Blackbeard's Ghost

• Hilarious in Hindsight:
  • Peter Ustinov and Suzanne Pleshette, who play Blackbeard and Jo Anne respectively in this film, would later find themselves both being cast as animated lion/lioness Disney villains.
  • Blackbeard is bonded to Steve, whom is the only one who can see and hear him; but other people and objects can be moved, struck, or otherwise be interacted with by Blackbeard. Blackbeard is also tethered to him and can't be too far away from Steve, meaning they are always together. This bears more than a few resemblances to Steve being a Stand user.
• Nightmare Fuel: There's something deeply unsettling about the portrait of Aldetha◊, Blackbeard's tenth wife (not so surprising given she was a witch and cursed him to limbo).
