• Older Than They Think: Many people that complained about Cartoon Network dabbling into live-action programming in the 2000s with Out of Jimmy's Head and the CN Real block often forget that this series was actually one of CN's first live-action series, predating Out Of Jimmy's Head (advertised as CN's "first live-action series") by a good eleven years.
• The Scrappy: Sofie, a humanoid Muppet girl added in the second season to try and spice things up.
• They Changed It, Now It Sucks!: How some viewers felt with the second season, when the show was reduced to a half-hour, Sofie was added, and much of the human cast sans Molly disappeared, along with dropping many of the existing animated shorts (sans Troubles the Cat and Koki) and introducing the Ace and Avery cartoons. The show was canceled after the second season.
