- Hilarious in Hindsight:
- The clash between Lightning and a Polygon Man-controlled Sora brings a few bells to the latter's 1 Minute Melee, where Link is also being controlled by a villain to fight. Sora loses his clash with Lightning, and wins against and frees Link.
- While Lightning has yet to appear in Kingdom Heartsnote , Sora makes an appearance as a DLC in World of Final Fantasy.
- Crash Bandicoot eventually becomes a Skylander.
- A few years after the tale's release, Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon would have an official DEATH BATTLE! with each other. That battle ends with Spyro winning. In this tale, on the other hand, Crash stops the battle by putting Aku Aku onto Spyro's face to get him to attack Polygon Man.
- Sora is a minor supporting character in this tale, but in 2021, he would be announced as the final DLC for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. This makes his role in the tale ironic, as he's presented as one of the PS2 era Sony Mascots alongside Jak, Sly, and Ratchet.
- Related to the above, Kazuya Mishima was the penultimate DLC of Smash Ultimate, while his hated father, Heihachi Mishima, is featured in this tale.
