• Awesome Music: The opening and closing songs, "Goku Dolls Music" and "Hoshi no Katachi", are catchy pop songs, especially the latter. To be fair, these idols' music are catchy and popular in general.
• Hilarious in Hindsight:
  • In the Latin American Spanish dub, Lina is voiced by Cassandra Acevedo, who is the real life niece of Patricia Acevedo, who voiced George's (Lina's former girlfriend when she was a male) girlfriend. The hilarity came with the fact Lina is forced to watch porn videos with her ex starring on them while being in her new female body and with a couple of dogs with her.
  • In the Live-Action version, 2 of the Gokudolls have previously portrayed a character with the same name before: Akame Sakanoue (Chika) as Asuna Yamase Ultraman X and Ruka Matsuda (Mari) as Poppy a.k.a. Asuna Karino from Kamen Rider Ex-Aid. if the actress who played the other Asuna (Ichika Osaki) from Kishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger or Asuna's Voice Actress Haruka Tomatsu would be in the movie somehow, things would be interesting.
• Memetic Mutation:
  • Expect someone to say something Backstreet Boys related such as "Backstreets back... all right!".
• Quirky Work: It's a series about three members of the Yakuza getting sex changes and becoming pop stars in Thailand.
• The Woobie: The Gokudolls in a nutshell. They are always getting berated by their boss, forced to become idols by changing their genders, and in order to become perfect idols, they were subjected through Training from Hell.
