• Ass Pull: Oliver is somehow able to put Emiko knowing about his unborn child into his vision.
• Unintentionally Sympathetic: Tommy tries to frame Oliver's current determination to take down Emiko even if he has to kill her, disregarding his family's role in the circumstances that drove her to current villainous state as wrong, but it really doesn't work. Oliver made numerous overtures to her over and over again up until last episode and she flatly rejected every one of them, going so far as to gloat that she led their father to his doom; not to mention she has a biological weapon at her disposal and then in this episode slaughters the SCPD with her goons. She wasn't driven insane like Slade was with the Mirakuru, she's fully in control of her actions.
• The Un-Twist: Alena being responsible for Archer's resurrection, since she was the only culprit.
